ChompSMS is a messaging app that is similar to the iphone's messaging. It is threaded but each message is in a bubble like an IM conversation that is quite a bit more visually appealing then the standard messaging format. It has all of the options of the native messaging and the notification shows as a dark green envelope. It even has an onscreen keyboard that provides audio and haptic keypress feedback. One handed texting is fairly easy once you get used to it. ChompSMS also has an extra service that allows you to prepay for text messages through them at a cheaper rate. Most people have unlimited already so although useful the average texter wont have any use for it.
