Downgrading to WM6.0/ Neo on the Shadow 2007

If the WM6.1 upgrade wasn't for you or you need to return your phone, here are quick steps to getting back WM6/ Neo (just like how your Shadow 2007 was out of the box.)

Instructions
From T-mobile
- This update is an official update from T-mobile. Click here to get the ROM from T-mobile.
- Follow the directions from T-mobile to complete the setup.
- As of 2/10/2009 this was working. However, T-Mobile is wishy-washy about support for the original Shadow since the release of the Shadow 09. If you are unsuccessful here, continue to the next step.
From the AS community
- If the above method fails, download the following update which is merely a copy of the official T-mobile update: Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.zip.
- This is the latest update for the shadow as of 2/10/2009.
- Now unzip the file on your PC
- Connect your phone via Activesync if you have XP, or Sync Center if you have Vista
- Run the update.
- Note: if for any reason the update link does not work, please contact toebee97.
- After completing either method, you will be back to your stock WM6/ Neo ROM. T-Mobile will never know the difference.... :)
