Editing the "Stick Together" splash screen

What this does

In theory, allows you to edit the "Stick Together" splash screen which is essentially built into the ROM.

Overview

1. The "Stick Together" splash screen is into the ROM. However, you can flash just a splash screen without making your phone lose data.

Directions

1. Download Splash Tools and extract on your PC
2. First open up the splashscreen.exe program. The program is shaped like a phone. To select an image file to become your splash screen, click on the screen of the shown phone after you open it.
3. Once you've done that, press the button in the middle that says create NB file, or something on those lines.
4. Now close out of the program by pressing the end call button and open the htccert1.1.exe program.
5. Click on the Build ROM tab and select the Excalibur from the dropdown of devices.
6. In device model, change the EXCAL***** to PHOE***
7. Click browse for the splash option and select the nb file that the splashscreen.exe program created.
8. Click build ROM and it will give you an nbh rom file. You can now place this in a Rom Update Utility folder (after making sure all other nbh's in the folder are deleted) and you can flash the rom like an update by clicking on the RomUpdateUtility.exe.
