Signing In to the Wiki

  • Before you can edit/ add/ make any changes to the wiki you must sign-in to the wiki. To do that, you must be a registered member of Allshadow.com. The username/password are the same for allshadow.com and the wiki. Its easy, free and also allows you to post over in the Allshadow Forums.
  • Click here to register at Allshadow.com.
  • Now to sign in. In the upper right hand corner you will see a "Log in" link.

  • Click on it, enter username and password and you are ready to go.
  • Note: leave any spaces out of your name. e.g. “Jon Jones” would be “JonJones”

Editing the Wiki

  • Now you are signed in and ready to go. Some things you might want to edit are spelling, grammar, updated information on applications or themes, explanation of specific hacks, programs, etc. to enhance your device
  • Here are some tips on how to make more edits that involve using "wiki-code." (For a complete run-down on all the code for the wiki, please click here for the complete wiki guide.)
  • Note: It is advisable to have one page per application, hack, process, tutorial and so on. Ideally, all links will be internal (meaning, the wiki can stand on its own 2 imaginary feet-- all the information needed for the user will be in the wiki.)

Uploading an image/ file

  • File types that the wiki supports are: cab, zip, jpg, gif, png, pdf
  • If you have a different file type, you can always zip it and then upload it to the wiki
  • In the left hand column, you will see a "upload" link.

  • Click on it and follow the directions to upload a file

Posting an image/ file

  • After uploading your image/ file you want to share it (aka embed it) on the wiki. Here are some basic steps

  • Note: for graphics use Image, but for zips/ pdfs use Media as shown above
