Freeware Directory
There are many freeware directories on the internet but none of them are user editable. Before adding a freeware, check to make sure it isn't added already, if it is check the version and update it if needed. It is best that the freeware be uploaded to the wiki so it will always be available. Before uploading make a decent effort to check with the developer to see if it is ok for the file to be hosted here. If you are updating a version keep the link to the old version in the version list with the newest being at the top. We do this in case there is a bad version we can always choose a previous v ersion.
For now, add the freeware to the list below and create a separate page for it. Once the list grows we will explore different methods of a more effective way of displaying the directory.
What each freeware page should contain
* Name of Freeware * Most Recent Version * Last Updated Date: Change this for newer versions only * Developer Information: Name, Website * Tags or Categories the freeware falls into * Description: What does it do? What solution does it provide? * Screenshots of the major screens * Installation * Use: How to use it * Misc Notes
