Hurrah Redux

A few words by the maker

Alright, the other thread for this theme got ridiculously large, and most of it was development. I'm now willing to release a "final beta" for this as well.

A few things about this theme:

Its a great supplement theme. It'll run straight on top of HTC Home, but it looks even better when run on top of HTC Home Diamond (by shadow mike). So when you go to select this theme either select HTC Home or HTC Home Diamond.

There is support for almost everything now. The only sliding panels i've neglected is CDock, CLinks, CMyFaves, CWelcomeCenter, CWindowsLive. If i could have gotten these panels to work i would have.

The inspiration for this theme was a fake image for WM6.5(which actually looks more like a zune smartphone concept...). So until 6.5 actually happens, enjoy this.

Also, if you already have this theme, there is nothing new. The only update is the new .cpr file which allows for more functional sliding panels (HTCSMS, HTC EMAIL, HTC Music, etc). I dont know what else to add right now, let me know if there are any problems.

I'm also aware that there are some uninstalling problems with these themes when you start to run these specific multiple themes. The reason is because most of them use the same font files and the same .cpr file. So it makes it difficult for it to uninstall all the files. I have figured out how to uninstall them, however.

Installation

  • Download HotovenSMHurrah Theme and SM s740 Theme
  • Then, Switch to a non-sliding panel theme.
  • Next, attempt to uninstall the file normally. If it says it cant completely uninstall the file restart the phone.
  • Next go to the cab and install it. It will ask if it can uninstall the program first. Sometimes it will say it still cant uninstall, and then it'll ask if you want to install it anyway. Click yes and install. The phone should restart now. When it does restart you'll notice it actually uninstalled it.
  • This works to uninstall the HTC Rose s740 theme, Hurrah 6.5 for 6.1, Hurrah, jogwheel beta, and jogwheel concept.
