FAQ About Upgrading
- Q: Won't this void my warranty?
- A: Well yes and no. If you return your phone with 6.1 on it, then yes it will void your warranty. However, you can always, always go back to WM6.0 (neo) via the T-Mobile update and T-mobile will not be the wiser. So, feel free to play around and feel confident that you can always go back to what came out of the box (and if you need help, the AS community is behind you.)
- Q: So how do I go back to 6.0 (Neo)?
- A: Check out this handy guide to help you go back to 6.0 (Neo.)
- Q: What are the differences between 6.0 (Neo) and 6.1?
- A: Pros include threaded text, PIE has zoom feature, it is faster and has panels. Some cons include harder to make themes and sliding wheel doesn't work as well as in Neo
