FAQ About Upgrading
- Q: Which Shadow is this for?
- A: These upgrades ONLY work on the original Shadow 2007. Do NOT attempt to do these on the Shadow 2009 (and really, there is no reason to do so!)
- Q: Won't this void my warranty?
- A: Well yes and no. If you return your phone with 6.1 or 6.5 on it, then yes it will void your warranty. However, you can always, always go back to WM6.0 (neo) via the T-Mobile update and T-mobile will not be the wiser. So, feel free to play around and feel confident that you can always go back to what came out of the box (and if you need help, the AS community is behind you.)
- Q: So how do I go back to 6.0 (Neo)?

- Q: What are the differences between 6.0 (Neo), 6.1, and 6.5?
- A: Pros of 6.1 include threaded text, PIE has zoom feature, it is faster and has panels. Some cons of 6.1 include harder to make themes and sliding wheel doesn't work as well as in Neo. Pros of 6.5 are it is even faster than 6.1, has widget support, newer version of PIE, different panel layout, access to Windows Marketplace, and many other new features! Cons are that the only working beta of 6.5 we have so far is very stable and usable, but it is still a work in progress.

The original beta that started it all. Unless you're curious, don't bother. It's not too stable, and it's developement has been all but abandoned since the release of beta version 1 by agoetz5201.
